Terms of service

These terms are a starting point, not legal advice — have a lawyer review them before you take real money.

1. What we sell

TakeFirstSpot sells positions on a public leaderboard. A payment buys placement ordered by the amount paid, exactly as described in the rules. We sell nothing else: no traffic guarantee, no conversion guarantee, no SEO value (all outbound links carry rel="nofollow").

2. Your listing

You are responsible for what you put on the board and you confirm you have the right to use the name, logo and link you submit. You must not submit anything illegal, malicious, deceptive, or impersonating another person or business.

3. Removal

We may hide a listing without a refund if it breaches clause 2, if a payment is disputed or reversed, or if we are required to by law. We will not remove a listing for being a competitor, being unpopular, or being disliked by us or another bidder.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record. Prices are in USD. All sales are final — see the refund policy.

5. Positions are temporary

A position lasts until another person pays more. That is the product, and no part of your payment buys protection against it.

6. Availability

The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the previous twelve months.

7. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes do not apply retroactively to positions already purchased.
